"Alternative" Public Hearing on Non-Partisan Redistricting Reform
State Senator Dale Schultz (R-Richland Center) and State Senator Tim Cullen (D-Janesville) will hear invited testimony from:
- Ed Cook, Legal Counsel for the Iowa Legislative Services Agency (The Wisconsin redistricting reform legislation -- Senate Bill 163/Assembly Bill 185 -- is based on Iowa's redistricting process, which is a national model for how it should be done.)
- A Member of the Iowa House of Representatives
- University of Wisconsin-Madison Political Science Professors David Cannon and Ken Mayer, experts on redistricting and gerrymandering
- Bill Kraus, Chair of Common Cause in Wisconsin and former Republican Strategist and Adviser/Press Secretary to Republican Governor Lee Sherman Dreyfus
- Any and All Citizens of Wisconsin are invited to testify as well.
